Predator Experience
If you plan on pitting your wits against the fiercest creatures in Thailand, you want to give yourself plenty of time to take them on. This is why booking a Predator Experience at Thainana Thai Nana is an excellent way to set yourself up for an excellent day of fishing.
The fishing times run from 7am to 6pm, so you get a great shift with this package, and as you would expect, everything is taken care of for you.
You will be fishing with live bait, dead bait, bread, lures and even frogs. With this package, you will receive a rod, all the bait you require, all your fishing equipment. You will even have a guide with you, so you’ll get help when it comes time to land a fish. As you might expect, you are not allowed to bring your own bait in with you, but you will be taken care of in this regard.
What fish can I catch in the Predator experience?
For many anglers, the arapaima is the big draw at this lake, and you will find versions up to 160kg here. You will also find redtail catfish, alligator gar, tambaqui, Asian redtail, leopard catfish, barramundi, gourami, tilapia and pacu.
If you require to be picked up and dropped off, from anywhere in Thailand, this can be arranged, although it obviously carries an additional cost.
If you would prefer to make an overnight stay, you can book a bungalow for 24 hours.
Snacks aren’t included, and you are not allowed to bring any in with you but there is a well-stocked shop on site, and there is also a restaurant if you would prefer to buy something more substantial.

Carp lake experience
If you love the excitement of fishing for carp, you will appreciate the carp lake experience package, with this session running from 7 in the morning to 6 in the evening.
You will receive two rods, 1 Mekong rod and 1 Carp rod, and 10 bags of bait lum. You will also receive sweetcorn bait, and all the fishing equipment you need. With a guide on hand to ensure you see the best spots and don’t miss an opportunity, this is going to be a fantastic day of carp fishing. You aren’t allowed to bring your bait in with you, but you will receive more than enough for a great day of fishing.
What fish are on offer at the carp lake?
As the name suggests, you will have plenty of carp to look out for with the carp experience, but there is still a great deal of variety on offer. You can look out for Mekong catfish, which are available up to 80kg, and there are also giant Siamese carp, known to grow to a weight of 60kg. You should also look out for Juliens’ carp, hovens carp, java barb, swai catfish, gourami, tilapia and rohu carp.
A great way to make the most of the fishing experience is to arrange to be picked up and dropped off from anywhere in Thailand. This carries an additional charge, but you can relax and take things easy.
Another way for you to take things easy is to book an overnight stay, and you can book a bungalow for 24 hours.
While snacks and drinks aren’t included in the package price, and you are not allowed to bring these items in with you, you can stock up at a shop on site, and there is also a restaurant if you are looking for a larger meal!

Predator and Carp experience
While the individual predator or carp experience are well worth checking out, if you like a little bit of variety, why not book both on the same day!
Yes, you can enjoy a full day experience which starts with Predator lake fishing at 7am, and which runs through to 1130am. After a short break, you will have a carp lake experience, running from 1230 pm through to 6pm.
What fish are on offer in these experiences?
In the morning, the biggest fish to look out for will be the arapaima, which is known to reach 160kg. This lake also offers redtail catfish, alligator gar, tambaqui, Asian redtail, leopard catfish, barramundi, gourami, tilapia and pacu.
In the afternoon, as the name suggests, you will spend a lot of time with carp. The biggest options are the Giant Siamese carp, up to 60kg, and the Mekong catfish, up to 80kg!
Other fish to look out for include Juliens’ carp, hovens carp, java barb, swai catfish, gourami, tilapia and rohu carp.
You will receive everything you need as part of the package including your rod, all fishing equipment, bait, and you will have a guide with you. You are not allowed to bring your bait in with you, but you will receive everything you need on site.
As with the other packages, you can arrange transport to and from any place in Thailand at an additional cost.
If you want to book a bungalow for 24 hours, you can do so which makes things easier for you.
You won’t receive snacks or drink as part of this package, and you aren’t allowed to bring these in with you, but these can be purchased on site at a handy store.
Also, if you have non-anglers who want to come along to see what the day consists of, you are allowed up to four non-anglers at no charge. There is no rod sharing allowed, so they won’t be able to join in the fishing fun, but they can share in the big occasion.
This is an excellent way to experience different types of fishing, and this day is available at a cost of 11,000 baht per angler.
